What have we here??

“If it Looks like a rat, if it smells like a rat…it’s a rat.”
Look, we’re not investigative journalists, or even journalists for that matter. We’re just a crew of guys that take notice when the most popular blog in Boston posts a video of a bouncer getting absolutely demolished “Meet Joe Black” style in front of one of our hometown bars. And we sit here today and are still taken back by such devastation, and the disbelief that this fortunate individual survived the episode.
But one has to wonder how a story like this, equally incredible and horrific, never makes it way to any legitimately accepted news sources? How is it possible that our local newspaper (the same paper that reported every urinal fart at the S.A.C. club for the past two months) missed this one entirely?
Here’s what we do know:
On November 8th, a Jeep takes on a Pedestrian sometime around last call…Jeep Wins.
Police respond.
31 year old, bouncer gets taken to Saints Memorial, and later New England Medical Center because he most likely was a mangled mess. He survives.
The 27-year-old operator of the Jeep was…. charged? Not charged? Sitting at home playing video games and unaware that his car taking no prisoners on Gorham Street? Wrong place at the wrong time?
The owner of the Jeep? Let’s just say I tasked Mark with CSI end of the investigation and after extensive DNA testing, and completely recreating the crime scene, he was able to pinpoint the exact location of the owner… Clinton St.
The story ends here. We don’t know the rest. Were there charges? Is the investigation on-going? Is this an old Lowell tale of people getting assistance from people in the position to give assistance? Are we just spinning our tires here? We’ll let you folks hash this one out….Stay tuned.

We DO know the name of the registered owner of the Jeep. We’re not posting it until after the good people at Fox do that outing for us. Just so you know we’re not full of it. We don’t know if the person driving is the registered owner. We’ll keep our ears open. If you hear something let us know so we can let you all know. Stay Frosty.
driver was not charged yet as of yesterday

Great job being ahead of the curve on this one guys. This is what makes blogs etc. more relevent than mainstream news sources (The Sun). They were only 3 or 4 days behind with this story.
